Frequently asked

Does CNTR give workout or medical advice?

No. Under no circumstances does CNTR provide medical, physical-therapy, fitness, or nutritional advice. It's a logging tool for capturing reps, sets, weight, and progress — it doesn't coach you, prescribe routines, or tell you what's safe for your body. Consult a qualified professional for training or medical guidance. Full text in the Terms health & fitness disclaimer.

Why didn't the AI recognize my exercise?

If CNTR can't identify what you described, it will ask you to clarify — try rephrasing with a more common name for the movement. If it logs the wrong exercise, swipe left on the set in the In Progress tab to delete it, then re-log with clearer phrasing.

The AI logged something wrong — wrong weight, wrong reps, wrong exercise

AI parsing is best-effort and not perfect. It can misread weights, set counts, or pick the wrong exercise. Open the In Progress tab, swipe left on the bad set to delete it, and re-log with clearer wording (for example, "3 sets of 10 at 135 lbs" instead of shorthand). When asking CNTR what you did last time, treat the AI's recall as a hint — open the workout in Progress if you need to be sure of the actual numbers.

How do I delete my workout history?

Go to Settings → Wipe all data. This removes your workout history and your anonymous device identifier from our servers within 24 hours.

Can I use CNTR on Android?

Not yet. CNTR is currently iOS only. If you'd like Android, drop us a note at hello@getcntr.app — demand drives priority.

Does CNTR work with Apple Watch?

Not yet. Native Watch logging is on the roadmap.

Can I export my data?

CSV export is coming soon. In the meantime, email support@getcntr.app and we'll generate an export of your workout history.

The app says "Connection required"

CNTR needs internet to run the AI parser when you log a new set. Browsing existing history works offline. If you have a connection but still see this error, restart the app — if the issue persists, email support@getcntr.app.

How do I log in kg vs lbs?

You specify units when you log a set — just include them in the message ("3×10 bench at 60 kg"). CNTR stores whatever you said, so you can mix units across workouts if you train at different gyms.

I want to delete my account

CNTR doesn't have accounts — your data is tied to an anonymous device identifier. The simplest way to delete everything is Settings → Wipe all data in the app. If you can't access the app, email privacy@getcntr.app and we'll do our best to locate and remove your data.

Still stuck? Email support@getcntr.app with your iOS version and a description of what happened. A real person will reply, usually within a day.
